Getting Started

Step 1 - Login to your account

Access the Aquifer web application here: https://app.aquifer.cloud/

If you’ve come this far, we've created a user using your email. Assuming your company uses Microsoft or Google as your email provider, you should be able to SSO by clicking "Sign In With Microsoft" or "Sign In With Google”. If you’d prefer to use an email/password combo let support know and we’ll set that up for you.

Keep an Aquifer tab open and ready to create the connections to Assignar and Quickbooks.

Step 2 - Add Assignar

• Get the Assignar API credentials

  1. Log into Assignar
  2. Go to Settings → API Access

  

  1. Note the Client ID and Client Secret, keeping the browser tab open or copying them locally to a file temporarily

• Go to Aquifer - based on the login from the first part

  1. Click “Connections” on the left side
  2. Click “Connect”
  3. Select Assignar clicking the “Connect” on top of Assignar
  4. Give it a name like “assignar” or like “assignar_civil_group” if you have multiple accounts
  5. Click “Next”
  6. Fill out the connection form
     1. Region - Region you have your Assignar account in
     2. Client ID - Client ID from Assignar
     3. Client Secret - Client Secret from Assignar

Step 3 - Add Quickbooks

• Go to Aquifer - based on the login from the first part
  1. Click “Connections” on the left side
  2. Click “Connect”
  3. Select Quickbooks Online clicking the “Connect” on top of Quickbooks Online
  4. Give it a name like “quickbooks” or like “quickbooks_sandbox” if you have multiple environments
  5. Click “Next”
  6. Click Authorize
     1. This will navigate to Quickbooks to authorize Aquifer
     2. Follow the Quickbooks UI until you’re returned to the Aquifer UI
  7. Click Finish
